Fun Facts

I love fencing. I started in freshman year of high school and have practiced every week since then. I was the captain of my high school team and am having a lot of fun doing club fencing at Lehigh.
*NOTE* I do not want to false report. In the GPA section I put my estimated GPA, however, we have not yet completed a college semester, so my final result may higher or lower than what is indicated.

About Me

I am a First-Year at Lehigh University. I completed AP English Literature and AP English Language in high school, earning an A- in both classes. I've had three writing assignments at Lehigh so far and have earned a 98% on all three of them. My writing has caused my Professor, and a TA, to recommend me for the TRAC program, in which I intend to tutor Lehigh students to strengthen their writing. In terms of math, I have always taken the highest level available throughout high school. I am very comfortable with the math on the ACT (scored a 34 on this section) and am happy to teach Algebra.

Experience

In National Honors Society in high school, I tutored kids in Algebra. I am most comfortable with teaching math like the content on the ACT and lower. I can teach in Algebra and Pre-Algebra, but I am not as strong in Calculus.

Approach

For writing my approach is to create a slight structured outline before I jump into the body of what I am trying to convey. In my experience, creating a strong opening hook can help make the piece more interesting for me, as the writer, and will set the mood for the rest of the piece.
