My favorite thing in life is surfing. I have traveled around the world chasing waves, most recently living in South Africa, Portugal, Indonesia, and Costa Rica. I also love filmmaking, writing, and comedy.

About Me

Hello! My name is Taylor and I'm from Cape Cod, MA. I graduated from Chapman University in 2019, where I studied screenwriting, film production, and English. Aside from the arts, I have a passion for teaching and have over ten years of experience as a teacher and tutor. My favorite thing to teach is creative writing.

Experience

For the last three years I have been working with VIPKid as an ESL teacher for children in South Korea. During this past year I have also been working with Tutor Zone as a homework tutor in all subjects for students in grades 1 - 12. Over the summer I created and taught a 6-week creative writing class for 6th and 7th graders. I have also been a classroom Assistant Teacher for preschool and pre-K students, as well as a camp counselor at a filmmaking and acting camp. I also work professionally as

I teach with a highly positive attitude, sense of humor, and genuine interest in my students. I approach every student with compassion, kindness, and respect. I make a personal connection with my students so that I can understand who they are and what their learning needs are, and so that I can make learning fun and engaging.
