About Me
I'm a junior studying computer engineering at boston-university">Boston University. I'm an Engineering Ambassador of our College of ENG! My GPA is pretty high, although there is a room for improvement! However, I think engineering is not about grades, it is about knowledge! As for me, I'm very excited about informational theory and security, and I''m currently trying to find a topic that I can investigate! When I graduate, I want to start my career by working for one of the big guys, as Google or HP.
I believe that through teaching something boston">tutors actually reinforce or obtain more knowledge they already have. That's why in college I became a Teacher Assistant for one of the eng classes-lab section. The class is designed the way that students never learn the lab material during lectures. So it is our job to explain it and guide them though the process of circuit building. Students may ask many interesting questions. Answering them/ thinking of the answer benefits both them and me, as a TA, since they learn new things and I constantly refresh my knowledge and understand the material even deeper. That, in a turn, is advantageous for them too, because, comprehending more, we can bring up other engaging problems/hypothesizes. The process of learning becomes very entertaining.
I think being enthusiastic about the subject that is being taught and a positive attitude towards a student are two crucial things for success. From my personal experience, I learn easier from teachers who love what they teach and eager to pass their knowledge on students. A s a boston">tutor,I always try to kind of imitate their teaching manner. I try to provide tons of real-life related to students examples, let students predict what the answer would be and then explain them the answer. I believe in learning through interactions. I ask millions of questions about the topic, so students have an opportunity to check their knowledge and memorize the material.
