I graduated from Strayer University with a degree in Business Administration. I transitioned to education because I want to make a difference in students' lives and be ongoing support during their academic journey.
Experience
I have experience as a substitute teacher and a paraprofessional working with grades prek- 8. I can identify learning barriers and help address them by meeting the student where he or she is at.
Approach
I interact with students and learn more about them to gain an understanding of their needs and learning environment. Parent involvement is critical because it has a significant impact on the success of the student. Together, we can develop a plan that outlines their strengths and improvement areas. I will focus closely on the areas that they struggle in and capitalize on their strengths.
