One of my passions has always been reading and collecting books. I currently have over 600 physical copies of books with many more in audiobook and ebook format. I am also very passionate about yoga and wellness!
About Me
I am a first year law student at Tulane University with a plethora of experience tutoring all grade levels (through college). My favorite age group to work with is high school-college aged students. I love any opportunity that I have to share my knowledge, and I strive to show every student that she can achieve more than she ever imagined!
Experience
I have experience tutoring all grade levels of Math and English in addition to the LSAT, SAT, and ACT. In most of my experiences, I would become an “all around” tutor for students, meaning that I would help the students with every subject that they needed support. I truly enjoy these roles, but my primary area of expertise is all levels of math through Calculus II.
Approach
If I had a dollar for every time a student has told me that they wished I was their formal teacher, I would be rich! My approach to tutoring varies from student to student based on their needs. The format of my sessions tends to be one in which I do an overview of a specific problem type with worked-out examples that I walk the students through step by step. Then, I have the student do practice with me so that I can correct any misunderstandings. I have found that this method is the most effecti
