About Me

I am a senior education/illinois/chicago">Special Education major at Northeastern Illinois University with an endorsement in ESL. I am certified to teach K-12. I have been on the deans list for the past 3 years. Once I graduate I hope to pursue my masters as a reading specialist.

Experience

I have over 100 hours as a substitute teacher in a high school setting. With experience in the following fields: mathematics, science, social studies, English, and education/illinois/chicago">special education.

Approach

As a child, I struggled in school, I was never given the tools I needed as a diverse learner to succeed. This helped motivate me to learn new ways to teach our students today. I take on an individualized approach where the students learning style is assessed and I will alter my teaching methods to meet the individualized needs of the student.
