Fun Facts

One thing my friends all know about me is that I love sports! Both playing and watching, I'm a big fan of soccer, basketball, and football. Some other fun facts about me are that I'm a twin (not identical) and that my eyes have two different colors.

About Me

I'm a senior at Tufts University where I've made the dean's list each semester here. I grew up in Westchester, New York. When I graduate, I hope to be working in either New York or Boston at a tech job.

Experience

I've had several opportunities and positions where I have been able to tutor students. In high school, I ran my own tutoring business where I helped high school and middle school students in subjects including Math, Physics, and science/massachusetts/boston">Computer Science. In the summer of 2021, I worked at iD Tech, a tech learning camp. During my time at iD Tech, I taught students aged 8 to 14 the basics of programming. Approach

My approach as a tutor is to listen to the student and to be patient. I try and listen to what the student already understands about the topic so I can find the gap in their understanding. When explaining new concepts to students, I try to be patient and move at their level of understanding. If students do not understand something when I explain it one way, I may try another way of explaining the topic until I get through to them.
