Fun Facts
I love robots and space! I worked at NASA to help create scientific robots for the Lunar Gateway mission, and at MIT to help them create robots for self-driving vehicle research. I also love music and movies!
About Me
I'm an experienced computer scientist with about 5 years worth of experience working primarily on robotics systems. I'm comfortable with languages ranging from Python to C to Bash, in different software environments, doing anything and everything that needs to be done.
Experience
As a college student, I regularly tutored students in engineering topics. I also worked as a teacher for younger children for several years in high school.
Approach
Asking and listening are some of the best tools at a tutor's disposal- I always try and understand what my students do and don't know first. From there, motivating a subject and using Socratic dialogue to unwrap tricky concepts is my go-to strategy. I believe anyone can learn anything with enough patience and the right technique.
