About Me

I am a disability advocate that has been working in the field for around 10 years. I love tutoring kids and adults in various subjects that they need support in. I often ask questions to help my students come to or conclusions regarding what they are having trouble learning. I am easy-going, supportive, and helpful when it comes to helping students learn on their own.

Experience

I have tutored 1:1 as well as in small groups for both schools as well as tutoring centers in the past. Most recently I was an AVID tutor for Portland Public Schools where I tutored small groups of middle schoolers and high schoolers in various subjects. I have also tutored in graduate school in the tutoring center. My specialties include writing, sociology, psychology, and study skills.
