I am a Marine veteran who has a passion for learning at all levels. I'm relaxed and outgoing and like to keep a fun atmosphere while learning. I believe that if you're having fun, you'll be more likely to understand and retain the information you're learning.

About Me

I am a senior at Texas Christian University (TCU) and I am double-majoring in Finance and Supply Chain Management. My major GPA is 3.53. I have had multiple internships and studied abroad in China. My post-graduation plans are to work for an energy company based out of Dallas as a futures analyst. I have won and been a finalist in multiple university Business Plan Competitions and have received leadership awards from my time in the Marine Corps.

I do not have any formal tutoring experience outside of casually assisting some classmates on test preparation or assisting them with class assignments and projects. I do have 8 years of leadership experience from my time in the Marine Corps which will enable me to be able to lead students through their work and school requirements.

I will approach tutoring by first getting to know each student on a personal level so that I can understand how he/she learns best. I believe that everyone has different ways of learning and if I can figure out which method works best for each student, then we can maximize our studying time and learn efficiently. I will be patient with the students but stern on our work ethic and focus. I will focus on effective time management and prioritization, helping the student to develop the skills necessary to succeed not just in school, but in life as well.
