Fun Facts
I have had a passion for education, ever since I was a little girl! I also love photography and being able to capture moments for families! I was born in Mexico but have lived in Texas my whole life!
About Me
I am an education major at Tarrant County College. I plan to transfer to the University of North Texas to finish my degree in bilingual education. I have worked as a bilingual paraprofessional for 5 years and gained so much knowledge that has helped me become a better teacher. I even won paraprofessional of the year!
Experience
As a bilingual paraprofessional, I had the opportunity to not only teach multiple subjects but also tutor. I would tutor during study hall, before and after school.
Approach
Many of the children I have worked with grew up just like me. Their parents spoke little to no English and could never help with their homework. I wanted to show students that it’s okay to ask for help. There will always be someone willing to step up. We don’t ever have to feel like we are alone.
