One passion people quickly learn about me is that I LOVE baseball! I love to travel when my teaching schedule allows with my family, which includes my two bilingual children. I speak Spanish and have three! dogs at home.

About Me

I am an attorney who practiced in New York for 15 years. During the Covid pandemic, I was afforded time to consider my other lifelong passion and began giving English classes online. I have now transitioned to full-time teaching. It is so rewarding to positively influence my students and help their realize their goals.

Experience

I have given nearly 4,000 online lessons to preschoolers, elementary students, high schoolers, working professionals, and retirees. I also teach English full-time at a Montessori school. I have considerable experience with SAT prep, AP English, AP History courses, TEAS prep, and ESL exams including TOEFL, IETLS, etc.

Approach

Each of my classes is student-centered. A method that works well for one student, will not yield results for his/her classmate. I use lots of visuals and examples during my lessons, but also traditional methods like repetition, when appropriate, especially for ESL students. I work to learn my students' strengths and weaknesses so they can quickly see results and progress.
