I've worked in schools across Texas, Taiwan, China, Benin, and Africa and the ages of my students over the years range from 3-63.

About Me

After spending twenty-one years in public education, I am now an adjunct professor, Executive Director of EmpowerED Pathways, and co-founder of Free Black Thought. My values are Liberty, Dignity & Humor.
I have soon to be, three children in college and one in high school.

Approach

As a student, I was bored and mediocre but eventually, I began to enjoy History so I try to reach that bored student as much as the highly motivated. The teacher's role is to teach students how to think, challenge their thinking, and pursue Truth and knowledge rather than telling them "what to think, how to believe". Education is about increasing one's potential and skillset, not adopting a prescribed set of beliefs.
