My primary major was Communication Studies. At the time, the Communication Department at the University of Montana was #1 in the country because of the work of Drs. Joyce Hocker and Bill Wilmot in International Conflict and Conflict Management. My introduction to Science in school came in the third grade, the same year Apollo 8 was the first Earth Spacecraft to circle the Moon. The following Summer came the first Moon landing. I was fascinated by all of it. My interest in science has remained steadfast ever since and currently I am working on a Documentary on how we will get to Mars.
