I used to be a card magician when I was in middle school/high school! It was a really fun hobby. Even though I don't practice as much anymore, I still collect cards!

About Me

I am a master's student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign studying aerospace engineering. After my master's, I plan on pursuing a Ph.D. to ultimately become a professor and develop research programs for underrepresented students.

Experience

I've been a math tutor for many subjects such as precalc, trigonometry, Calc I, II, III, and differential equations for about 3 years as an undergraduate student.

Approach

I was also a volunteer coach for a traditional lion dance team. I treat teaching like parenting and use a gentle approach with reinforced learning and positive affirmation techniques.
