One thing I am very interested in is genealogy - the research of family trees. I can research ancestors and I love to understand people in the past.

About Me

I am a graduate of the chicago">University of Illinois at Chicago. I graduated with a B.A. in Anthropology and Italian Studies. I studied abroad twice in my college career: once in Italy and once in Hungary. In 2019 I also won a Fulbright scholarship and conducted an anthropology project in Hungary. I really appreciate languages, writing, history, and education.

Experience

For many years I have been involved in education and tutoring. I love teaching and helping students learn and pass their classes. I have taught through independent tutoring as well as formal teaching. I have years of experience in teaching ESL, English as a second language. I also am an experienced tutor in the Italian language, English, Anthropology, History, and all Social Studies.

Approach

I understand schoolwork, studying, and writing can be hard. When I was younger I found these tasks difficult as well, but I eventually learned how to enjoy them. Today I help students improve their grades and also enjoy the material they are studying. The school does not have to be hard, especially with the right tutor!
