I have 30 years of experience in teaching and technology adoption. I have held many professional roles as a technical instructor, a technology change manager, and a business leader. I am patient and kind, and I have the ability to approach learning topics from many perspectives to assist in developing the needed skills.

Experience

I served in the US Navy for ten years where I was a technical expert and instructor, teaching computer skills and technical skills to new sailors.

I grew up poorly educated in South Texas. I joined the military and learned how to learn through my military training. The military taught me that I could achieve my academic goals through patience, focus, and repetition. I expanded my learning techniques while earning my bachelor's in science/michigan/detroit">Computer Science by using unique methods for engaging with information and problems. I have integrated these values & strategies into my tutoring style.
