About Me
I am a recent graduate of Rice University, where I majored in Psychological Sciences and minored in Cell Biology and Biochemistry. I have been on the Dean's List every semester. Currently, I plan to start medical school this summer.
Experience
I have been tutoring since my junior year of high school. I have had 2 years of experience tutoring middle school geometry as a part of the National Honor Society. During college, I tutored 5 students in various subjects (middle school English, SAT English/Writing prep, Algebra II, and Pre-Calculus I) for 3 years. I was also president of a virtual tutoring club at Rice for 2 years, focusing on providing free tutoring to underprivileged students in the Houston area.
Approach
I always struggled with test prep and reading comprehension in both middle school and high school. With the help of my mentors in high school and even college, I have learned how to improve my study habits and utilize techniques that make it easier for me to study and overcome difficult assignments. Working with my students, I have created study plans for both cumbersome classes and SAT test prep which focuses on improving students' weaknesses while utilizing their strengths.

Biology I Tutoring
