One hobby of mine is playing soccer. I LOVE soccer! I have grown up playing my whole life, and I still play recreationally in my free time! Another fun fact about me is that I can say the alphabet backward (no one ever seems to believe me until I do it!)

I am a graduate of Arizona State University with a degree in Secondary Education (English). I am passionate about helping others, and a strong writer with great interpersonal skills! I am very much a people person and find joy in helping others achieve their goals.

Experience

As a prior instructional assistant and first-year teacher, I have plenty of experience helping students in the areas of writing and language arts in whole groups, small groups, and one-to-one settings.

Approach

As a child, I was told by a teacher that I would never learn to be a good reader and that my writing was terrible. With this in mind, I know how quickly an experience can make or break a child’s passion for literature and the art of writing. I strive to show others the joy that writing can bring and how it can be used as a tool rather than a chore!
