Fun Facts
I love rock climbing! Climbing is not only a challenging and physically demanding sport, but it also offers a unique sense of accomplishment and adventure.
About Me
I graduated from Columbia University with my bachelor's degree in Operations Research in May 2022. Currently, I am working at some venture capital in New York City. In my spare time, I like rock climbing and hiking! I may consider going back to school to get my master's in science/new-york/new-york">Computer Science in a few years
Experience
Before coming to the U.S. to get my undergraduate education, I taught Chemistry for two years or so in China. I also have been tutoring students in Math and Chinese for a few years during college. Working for Frog Tutoring gives me the opportunity to impact even more lives of students that need help!
Approach
First of all, I think being patient is the key. There don't exist stupid students; there only exist teachers who don't know how to teach. Be patient and give students a little more time.
Additionally, it's very crucial for me to try being a friend with my tutee instead of a teacher and always try to find some common topics with them such as pop culture, social media, and so on. Students need someone who they find relatable and then they would be willing to listen.
