Everybody I meet quickly learns I love Origami! It offers a wealth of ideas from math, programming, art, and history to consider. No less, origami is beautiful!

About Me

I am a Masters's student at the CUNY Graduate Center studying Data Science. In my free time, I volunteer with food pantries and tutor local students.

Experience

I've worked in tutoring/teaching for almost 10 years now. I've tutored students of all ages, but I especially enjoy working with high school and college-aged students, as their curriculum becomes more difficult. All in all, students at each age offer unique obstacles and victories I'm happy to guide them through.

Approach

Above all else, I focus on creating a rapport with my students. Many students stay stuck in school because they don't feel comfortable answering or asking questions, making it difficult to identify their confusion. When students feel comfortable enough to express their ideas without feeling insecure or self-conscious, their performance in school improves quickly!
