I was raised in Austin. I have a brilliantly, magical son named Avery and two cats, Amber and Clyde. I love to do arts and crafts like painting and making dream catchers. My favorite place on the planet is any creek bed, anywhere.
About Me
I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in Decemeber 1999 with a BA in Mathematics. Next, I attended Southwest Texas University to complete my coursework in education to earn my Texas Teaching Certification. I have been blessed with a twenty-two year career in education, mostly spent in various high school classrooms. For over a decade,I enjoyed a 95-100% passing rate on the state mandated test known as the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills. I would like to humbly note the the United States Department of Education nominated my classroom as a model for the Nation.
In addition to my successful classroom experience, I have enjoyed plenty of one-on-one and small group tutoring. I am extremely excited to get started with our clientele. I love to witness the transformation that most of my students undergo as they grow from individuals who don't want to even pick up a pencil and try into a skilled and confident mathematics learner and achiever.
