About Me

My formal education includes preparatory school at Andover, a BS from Yale, and an MBA from Harvard. I grew up in a small rural town that did not inspire much desire for advanced education. I was able to gain admittance to famous educational institutions through the efforts of an excellent tutor whose wisdom I appreciated in later years. I spent most of my working years in the private sector where I served in staff and line management at large and small companies including starting and leading a business of my own. I am currently teaching an online course in Business Management as an adjunct professor at Fisk University. Concurrently, I have tutored high school students in preparation for college. I believe my education and business experience enables me to make a significant contribution to young people preparing for college and careers.
