Fun Facts

I love helping others. I currently work as a full time instructional aide at St. Helen's Catholic School. I have two dogs, a Whippet Lab mix and a Australian Cattle Dog. When I'm not working, I spend my time taking them to the lake or on hikes. I'm a very active person, always up to something!

About Me

I am in my junior year of college at Chico State University. I am majoring in Liberal Studies. Before that, I was enrolled at Clovis Community College and earned my Associate Teaching Degree. I have been on the Dean's List for 3 years in a row, and was recently nominated by my college for the NSLS.

Experience

I worked for Tutoring Club and tutored students for almost a year. I worked with students ages 4 to 19, and focused mainly on reading, writing, and math. I do have experience with science, religion, and test prep, as well.

Approach

As a child, I loved school and learning but didn't enjoy my teachers. I strive to be the person students enjoy coming to and learning from everyday. I want to build a rapport with students so I can know what will work best for them.
