About Me

I have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and working towards my Master's in Psychiatric Nursing in the Primary Care Nursing Practitioner Program. I worked as a tutor in college with subjects like English and History. My focus now is on Medical Related Subjects especially preparing future Nurses on meeting their goals. I have been a nurse since 2011 with Acute Care Hospital experience, Psychiatric Nursing, Claims, Documentation Review, Worker's comp, and Billing and Coding Certified. That's the boring part of me. The fun part is I was also a Volunteer Basketball Coach for three years in a Nonprofit Youth Program that helps Kids struggling with behavioral and substance abuse issues.

Approach

I was a basketball coach for 3 years and a tutor back in college, and the way I teach my students is to talk to them with respect and dignity. I assess my students first for their strengths and weaknesses and will work from there. I also make studying fun and interesting. I will use materials for all kinds of styles of learning.
