I've lived in Washington D.C. and Italy! I love hanging out with my friends and family, playing tennis, and learning new things :-)
About Me
I majored in Political Science and Journalism, was on the Dean's List nearly every semester, was an Undergraduate Fellow, and have worked in Washington D.C. at one of the world's largest law firms! I am the oldest of 6 kids, and love to have fun, travel, and Thai food :-)
Experience
I've tutored/taught weekly English classes for 18 months to Sicilians (adults and children) while living in Sicily. I've also tutored/mentored elementary school students in English and other subjects.
Approach
I start with topics the students are comfortable with and move gradually toward more complex areas as their confidence builds. I coach using lots of warmth and encouragement.
