Fun Facts
When I'm not at my nursing job you can find me at dance classes, doing yoga, or running in Central Park. I grew up dancing and have always found ways to stay active. I also love cuddling up with a blanket and a good book or exploring new places in New York with my friends.
About Me
I am a current RN working in an inpatient Psych unit in New York City. Prior to this, I worked in inpatient pediatrics. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. My ultimate goal is to become a professor of nursing at a university.
Experience
In college, I tutored high school students in reading and math on a weekly basis at a local high school. Additionally, I worked with elementary school students on reading comprehension at an inner city school in Atlanta.
Approach
I strive to serve as a positive, compassionate resource to students at any stage of their educational journey. I know learning can be both extremely challenging and rewarding. Having supportive teachers and mentors who were invested in me was instrumental in my success. I wish to pay this forward and help students succeed and develop a love of learning.

Anatomy Physiology I Tutoring
Although I took Anatomy and Physiology in college as a pre-requisite for nursing school, I have ample experience applying this knowledge base in my profession and throughout my education. This, combined with my experience tutoring high school students will help me to clarify difficult concepts for students and collaborate on effective study techniques.
AP History Tutoring
In high school I took and made A's in AP World History, AP U.S History, and AP Government. I have a passion for these subjects and am experienced with AP test questions and essay formats.
Homework Coach Tutoring
Homework can be challenging for many students. I am passionate about helping students find the driving force within themselves that can make it manageable and even rewarding. I am experienced in helping students develop healthy homework habits that aid them in completing homework in a timely manner. Further, I empower students to voice the difficulties they are having with homework and collaborating with them to surpass these challenges.
Study Skills Tutoring
Developing strong study skills is the key to most students' success. I attribute my ability to maintain a 4.0 GPA in high school and a 3.9 GPA throughout college and nursing school to effective studying. I recognize that all students are unique, and I am passionate about helping students discover the tools and habits that are most effective for them as an individual.
Writing Tutoring
In high school I took AP English and AP Literature and received A's in both subjects. I have experience tutoring high school students in writing technique and reading comprehension. I love helping students find their voice and develop their ability to communicate through the written word.
Nursing Tutoring
I am a current RN who graduated from nursing school less than 2 years ago. I maintained a 3.9 GPA in nursing school. Of note I made A's in classes such as Health Assessment, Pathophysiology, Foundations of Nursing Practice, Pharmacology, Acute and Chronic Care, and Complex Care among others.
NCLEX Tutoring
Following nursing school I took the NCLEX and passed on the fist attempt in 70 questions. I am familiar with commonly used NCLEX test prep apps and websites and can help students maximize their effectiveness. Further, I maintained a 3.9 GPA throughout nursing school and have a strong understanding of topics covered on the NCLEX. I can help clarify difficult topics for students or help think through how to apply topics to NCLEX style questions.
English Tutoring
Prior to nursing school I took classes such as Creative Writing, Special Topics in Literature, and Special Topics in English all of which I made A's in. I love english and literature and have experiencing with developing writing technique and reading comprehension.
