About Me

I have a bachelor of science.in elementary Education k-8, I have been teaching for 5 years now, I have a passion for kids. I have 3 children of my own and am broadening my educational background by looking into tutoring.

Experience

5 years of teaching science, AVID, and Math 180. 2 years teaching middle school ELD. Multiple leadership positions

Approach

I found that students struggle the most in science because they do not understand, like, or see the point of it. My approach is to make any subject apply to the real world, use different viewpoints throughout instruction, and call for critical thinking.
