About Me

I am a senior at Tufts University studying Sociology and Civic Studies. I have taken a range of coursework including Psychology, Spanish, Child Studies & Human Development, Art History, Sociology, Anthropology, Education, and Math, among others. I've been on the Dean's list each semester!

Experience

I started working with kids in an educational setting when I was just 13. I volunteered in a first-grade classroom and helped students with math and reading work. In high school, I worked as an art teacher at a summer camp where I had a small group of advisees. In college, I worked at a Montessori School for a Summer where I served as a counselor for kids ages 18 months to 3 years. I also spent a semester during the year volunteering at a nearby learning center where I assisted kids ages 7-9 wit

Approach

From elementary school all the way through college, I found that my best academic experiences took place in settings where instructors were patient, had a passion for what they were doing, and encouraged their students. This is the model that I seek to work off of!
