About Me

I am a PhD student in Mathematics at Tulane University with years of experience teaching and tutoring. I specialize in calculus, algebra, geometry, and analysis, helping students build confidence and excel in math.

Experience

I have extensive experience teaching and tutoring mathematics at various levels. I taught at the University of Havana, worked as a tutor at Crafting Scholars specializing in standardized test prep, and am currently a TA at Tulane University, where I assist with Calculus I and Statistics courses. My goal is to help students develop a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and gain confidence in their skills.

Approach

Mastering math starts with understanding the 'why' behind its concepts. By focusing on fundamental principles and logical reasoning, students develop a deeper grasp of the material and strengthen their problem-solving skills—essential for success in math and beyond.
