I adore traveling and have studied abroad in both Belize and Costa Rica! I have conducted research ranging from behavioral studies of endangered turtles to an online platform crediting people for sustainable behaviors. I enjoy watching all kinds of films and traveling to unique places.

About Me

I am a magna cum laude graduate from Allegheny College, with majors in Spanish and Environmental Science, and I am currently teaching English to elementary students in Spain. I was part of the honors college, and foreign language honor society, and won various awards for my bilingual, undergraduate thesis.

Experience

- Private tutor for exam preparation, homework help, and business English for adults
- Private online tutor for adult students preparing for an international convention
- Taught elementary Spanish to 5th graders in rural Pennsylvania

Approach

I focus on creating engaging lessons that hone the learning style of each student. Of course, this means creating a dialogue with the student discussing their expectations, personal goals, and how they best learn new content. My lesson plans are varied, draw upon speaking, reading, and writing, and include games and real-world applications.
