About Me

I am currently a 4th-grade teacher in Bedford-Stuyvesant and can tutor students from K-5 in person or online. I specialize in math instruction and reading comprehension strategies. I love working with kids and helping them learn and grow!

Experience

I have been an elementary school teacher (4th grade) for 2 years and have my degree in both elementary education and education/new-york/brooklyn">special education. I have also student taught in 1st grade and 6th grade.

Approach

As a education/new-york/brooklyn">special education teacher, I love to use specially designed instruction, game-based learning, and using student interests and learning preferences in my lessons. I believe every student can be successful if you meet them where they are and tailor your instruction to their specific needs.
