About Me

I am an Applied Mathematics major at Swarthmore College. I am an experienced private math tutor and I run a company building websites for small businesses. I love animals, cooking, and playing tennis.

Experience

I have worked throughout college and high school doing peer tutoring in assorted math subjects. I have worked privately with dozens of families tutoring their middle school and high school-aged children. I have also worked full-time for tutoring companies including Paper, Littera, and MyPrivateProfessor. Overall, I have spent hundreds of hours tutoring students of all levels and backgrounds.

Approach

My approach revolves around building a valuable relationship with each individual student. No two learners are alike, and the most impactful thing a tutor can do is figure out the style of teaching that is most effective for a given individual student. I also prioritize big-picture thinking and making sure my students understand the fundamental intuition behind concepts, not just what procedure they're meant to follow.
