Fun Facts

I like drawing and art in general. Don't get me started on Studio Ghibli movies and how well-made they are. (lol) I plan on becoming a Speech Language Pathologist like my grandmother and I've had experience working with her and other Speech Aides and Speech-Language Pathologists, and I loved it. I also adore dogs even though I'm a little allergic to them!

About Me

I am a college student at AVC (Antelope Valley College), and I am currently majoring in Liberal Arts: Social and Behavioral to eventually go into speech pathology. I take great pride in my work and I love working with all people regardless. I enjoy teaching people things I'm passionate about, and I will work my hardest to make sure the job is not only completed, but the person I tutor comes out with good knowledge and possibly having a fun time learning!

Experience

I used to help with speech sessions and commonly helped tutor my cousin with autism with his homework. Other than that I have no experience but I am hoping to gain more!

Approach

When I went to school I had a really hard time seeing the board and focusing on any topic. I have ADHD and I know exactly how easy it is to get off-topic or wander off into daydream land. What helped me a lot in school and even in college was teachers making the classroom experience a mix of fun, and learning. As my Business Professor said quite often in BUS101, "When you laugh you learn". My approach is to make learning fun. Whether that's by cracking jokes about the subject or making the study
