About Me

My name is Mahmoud and I’m a high school senior at Lake Oswego High School. I’m currently taking Calculus BC and AP Chem, and have already taken AP Biology Junior year. Next year I plan to attend college at Cal Poly SLO, majoring in microbiology.

Experience

My experience as a Math instructor for two years is my strongest qualification for this job. I can handle all capabilities of students, along with being able to adapt quickly to each student's motivational factors.

Approach

Each student has their own capabilities, and no student is like another. There must be strategies to motivate the student to keep persisting through their material. One valuable skill I learned at Mathnasium is Socratic questioning, this helps the student thinks for themselves while directing them to the right process at the same time.
