Currently studying mathematics at Portland Community College. Planning to transfer to PSU.

Experience

I always study beyond my classes and learn subjects outside my comfort zone. I try to make our community a better place for everyone.

Approach

Ideally, mathematics is something to be explored and invented independently by students in order to solve problems beyond their current level. Unfortunately, the current academic paradigm demands that skills be learned quickly rather than understood.
I try my best to incorporate practices in my teaching that promote real understanding and, hopefully, real interest in the subject.
