About Me

I love working with students and helping them succeed! I have lived and taught in California, New York, and Mexico City, which are all places I adore. In my free time, you can find me taking long walks, reading a book, and meeting new people.

Experience

I have been a third and fourth-grade teacher for 4 years, in both public and private schools. I also hold a CELTA certification and am qualified to teach English as a second language at any age level.

Approach

With any age of the student, I believe that a trusting teacher/student relationship is the necessary foundation for learning. I seek to keep my students engaged in the learning process and to build their confidence. I value incorporating regular low-stakes assessment strategies to help keep track of my student's progress. When working with children, I love to communicate with their parents so that we can act as a team to support their child's growth!
