Though I have a clear interest in anything that has to do with computers, I oversee an ever-growing collection of plants in both my bedroom and my garden. Eventually, when the time presents itself, I'd like to study some horticulture.
About Me
I am an incoming Electrical Engineering major at San Jose State University and an incoming science/california/sacramento">Computer Science major at De Anza College. With years of experience in STEM, I can offer support in a variety of subject areas.
Experience
Being a former Mathlete, I have prior experience working with others to solve problems that require extensive solutions to seemingly unapproachable problems. I'd often work with people who were several years younger than me to compete at local competitions.
Approach
When I was younger, I was always right on the cusp between being an "advanced" student and a "normal" student. Through a ton of persistence, I went from a Lexile reading score of ~400 to a score exceeding 1300 and began to average A's in math instead of C's. In the end, I made it through Calculus BC, began to study some of the curricula my math teacher created for students who wanted to go further and went through both AP English Language and AP Literature. AutoCAD Tutoring
In High school, I took the full STEM pathway for Engineering Design, which focused entirely on CAD. With my strong grasp on geometry and extensive set of projects, I can help others create anything with AutoCAD.
Reading Tutoring
In grade school, I had a great interest in books. From The Magic Tree House to Harry Potter, I read absolutely anything that had to do with fantasy. Of course, as I've grown, so too has my taste in books. As a result, I have a large list of book recommendations for your child to read as they go through their most formative years of reading and writing.
