About Me

I have bachelor’s (magna cum laude) and master’s (with honours) degrees in Environmental Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I am currently pivoting from a career in water & wastewater treatment engineering to follow my passion for becoming a massage/somatic therapist.

Experience

- Worked as an education assistant at a nature preserve after my sophomore year of college.
- Mentored and taught undergraduate researchers as a graduate student.
- Informally worked with fellow classmates in high school and college to help them understand difficult topics.

Approach

As a lifelong lover of learning, it brings me joy to help students find fun and excitement in school. I believe that everyone learns and processes information in their own way. I work with students to find the right angle of approach for complicated topics, so they can truly understand and integrate the information instead of purely memorizing it.
