One of the quotes I like the most is “The more we give, the more happier we feel”. In my spare time, I love to volunteer in my hometown Quebradillas, Puerto Rico. I have been involved with the community for more than 10 years.

About Me

Excellent in creating educational materials to help students with vocabulary. Goal oriented, responsible, skilled in problem solving, critical thinking and time management. Looking for an opportunity to provide personable and effective teaching.

Experience

Developed teaching material for 20+ students learning English and Math, coordinating academic services for additional support. Experience with Spanish immersion program students, who would like to become fluent in Spanish conversational as well as reading. Spanish tutor instructing students, both individually and in groups, using various teaching methods such as lectures, discussions, and demonstrations.

Approach

My teaching style is primarily centered on the student's needs. I adapt my teaching style to cater to everyone and make the material as interesting as possible. I like to use reading-out-loud exercises, colorful materials, and even videos where possible to demonstrate my learning points. I also create quizzes, tests, homework, and more! I also like for the students to see my face/lips/mouth for pronunciation techniques.
