I love working with people who want to improve their lives and aren’t afraid to ask for help, especially at the education level. Another fun fact, I like to write using calligraphy.

About Me

I am a graduate of Bowie State University with a Masters degree in School Psychology. I’m moving on to internship and advanced studies for national certification. I’ll primarily work with toddlers - high schoolers; however, I’ve worked with adults before. I’m easygoing, meet people where they are instead of pushing an agenda, and encourage people to meet their goals.

Experience

I’ve had the opportunity to work with children with reading, writing, and even holding a pen(cil). Depending on the family, tutoring was about 2-4 days out of the week. I’ve always seen improvement with the children I’ve worked with. In addition, I’ve worked with adults of many ages who want to meet their goals educationally and in their daily activities.

Approach

My approach is to meet people/students where they are. I want to get to know them and truly find out the best way to navigate their learning that is best fit for them. You learn a lot just by listening. While meeting them where they are, I continue to use encouragement and motivation so they can have belief in themselves and see they are making tremendous progress and improvements.
