About Me

I am currently a graduate student at the State University of Oswego. I've been teaching for four years and in my leisure I like to write poetry and non-fiction.

Experience

As a student, I took a course with a placement as a mentor-scholar for at-risk students. The classroom component of the course focused on training in youth development, age-appropriate practices, and cultural competency. This set me on a path to becoming a teacher.

Approach

School has helped me advance my career path and it is a passion of mine to inspire learners of all ages to achieve their educational goals through hard work, determination and persistence.
