I love staying active and exercising, through playing basketball, soccer, running, hiking, etc. I enjoy playing video games as well as working with computers. Believe it or not, much of my work as a historian involves a computer!

About Me

I am a graduate student at Salem State University, pursuing my Master's degree in Secondary Education. I just graduated with my Bachelor's in History from Salem State as well, with ambitions to teach high school history after I complete my Master's degree.

Experience

I have been working in schools throughout my time as an undergraduate and graduate student. I have become well-versed in methods of teaching history and writing and honed my pedagogical beliefs around the best and most effective ways to teach. I am excited to continue building my repertoire. I worked as a teacher of record during the pandemic, as well as finishing my pre-practicum experience over the past two years at Salem High School.

Approach

I have had a passion for learning since I was a young boy. My goal is to be a role model and help my students learn valuable skills that are necessary to succeed in the real world. Most importantly, doing so in a structured, fun, and rigorous environment, where their ideas are welcomed and their thinking is furthered.
