Fun Facts
In the next few months, I plan on eventually getting my TEFL (Teaching English in a Foreign Language) Certificate to teach abroad. When not working full-time as a research assistant, I work part-time as a photographer in a small boutique.
About Me
I received my bachelor of science in psychology from Stevenson University and I currently work as a Research Assistant for a nonprofit working with the criminal justice and substance use population. In the fall of 2024, I plan on pursuing my master's in experimental psychology.
Experience
I've worked in a different educational environment with students of all ages. I worked in school settings, clinics, in-home, and virtual teaching children and adolescents reading and writing fundamentals. I previously worked for Sylvan Learning work with students from different educational backgrounds and ages.
Approach
Growing up, I found challenges in my academic career. I could not take advantage of tutoring or different resources because of the lack of availability or professionals who knew how to tailor their way of teaching to meet my academic needs. Students should have an individualized educational plan that will benefit their learning in the future.
