In addition to my love for math and logic, among the chief joys in my life are poetry and music -- both absorbing these arts and creating them.

About Me

At one time or another I have studied just about everything: Calculus, Chemistry, Microbiology, Critique of poetry, philosophy, ancient (Latin and Greek) Literature...in addition to spending years as a journalist.

Experience

Both online and in person, I have for years tutored students of ages ranging from six to 70 in subjects including English, Algebra and Calculus. I have taught philosophy, including ethics and logic. I have worked with Kaplan in preparing students for all phases of the GRE, including English and mathematics.

Approach

I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others, and I am willing patiently to expend whatever time and energy are required to make sure the student understands.
