Fun Facts
I love to read about science, history and sociology. I also like to cook and be outside. Lately I've been learning how to book bind and I want to start learning how to sew beads onto clothes.
About Me
I'm a physicist, mathematician, and aspiring anthropologist. I love learning about people and the world we live in and sharing knowledge with anyone. I graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Master's in Physics.
Experience
I've had the pleasure of tutoring math and physics for about seven years, mostly in college-level math, advanced and intro physics, and introductory math.
Approach
When I was in school I found it very difficult to learn from lectures. I feel that learning with other people should be more engaging and discussion-based. I like to ask a lot of questions when I tutor so that I can guide people to the answers to their questions rather than just telling them information. I feel that this approach avoids the problems encountered in lectures/traditional classrooms. I am very patient with all my students and I am happy to answer every question that you have.
