I am a passionate musician, I love to play classical and blues piano, sing, and pick up new instruments. I've lived around the world including Cairo, Egypt and Madrid, Spain. I'm currently studying abroad in Berlin!

About Me

I am a rising sophomore science/georgia/atlanta">computer science student at Georgia Tech, I speak fluent English and Spanish and I'm always looking to learn new languages. I am an avid runner, ultimate frisbee player, and musician. I spend my free time playing sports, making music, or building new programs. Currently, I'm working on a program that uses machine learning to improve blues piano. I am studying abroad this summer in Berlin and looking to tutor around my class schedule!

Experience

During high school, I tutored peers through our math and Spanish classes. At Georgia Tech I've led study groups and helped tutor friends through more difficult stem content. I focus on Java and Python along with some basic web development. The majority of my tutoring experience comes from tutoring English to non-native speakers. More specifically working with the Afghan refugee community in Atlanta over the past few years. I also tutored English while studying abroad in Madrid.

Approach

Growing up with ADHD, I found it hard to stay caught up with the material and pay attention in class. I grew as a student by having teachers that had the patience to keep me optimistic and the structure to keep me organized. I follow those same guidelines as a tutor.
