About Me

I am a retired special educator with over 30 years of experience in education. I received 2 awards for Highly Effective Educator in 2010 and 2011.

Experience

One of my part-time jobs allowed me the opportunity to tutor students in reading and writing during the summer months. I became a proofreader for a student in college and graduate school.

Approach

My favourite elementary teacher was patient, organized, and very creative in teaching lessons. As a result, I love to approach my lessons with these strategies, as well.
