Fun Facts
One passion people will quickly learn about me is that I love Volleyball! Any time I have a chance, you will find me playing volleyball. I am the youngest of 3. I am trilingual and I play two musical instruments.
About Me
I am currently a curriculum developer, ESOL instructor for a Community College and a Surgical Processing Academic Company in Texas. In addition, I provide academic assistance for students of all ages in Spanish, English, Health, Nutrition, Reading, Writing, homework coaching, exam prep, executive function and computer skills. I also work with student of all ages with learning disabilities and tutor students in healthcare courses.
Experience
I have provided academic support, supplemental instruction, and exam preparation in Spanish and English for students in different countries. I have also provided curriculum development for different organizations in the healthcare field and academia. I have extensive experience working with executive function and learning disabilities of all ages. I also tutor students in healthcare programs.
Approach
As a child, I struggled in school and found learning to be difficult in certain areas and demoralizing. In middle school, I was fortunate enough to have found a mentor who, through positive encouragement and persistence guided me to become the person that I am today.
