Fun Facts
When my nose isn't in a book you can easily find me at the gym as I am a competitive strongwoman. I also love the outdoors and am an avid hiker- in 2022 I summited Mount Kilimanjaro!
About Me
I earned my Masters in Biochemistry from the City College of New York in 2021 where I researched organic battery synthesis. Before then I studied science at Fordham University where I did ecology research on white-nose syndrome in bats.
Experience
I tutored high school students in math and science throughout undergrad and grad school.
Approach
When I entered college, I began to appreciate how strong foundations can set a student up for success later on. My tutoring style is focused on developing a strong understanding of the core concepts of a lesson, and then being able to confidently recognize and apply them later on.

Experience tutoring pre-algebra curriculum including real numbers and algebraic expressions; equations, inequalities, and ratios; as well as functions, graphs, systems of equations, and probability.
Algebra Tutoring
Experience tutoring on the foundations of algebra, including equations and inequalities as well as realtions and functions. Tutoring curricula will include linear funtions, systems of equations, through factoring polynomials and quadratic equations.
Biology Tutoring
Biology subjects available for tutoring include the scientific method and biology basics, cells, energy flow, genetics, evolution, and ecology.
Geometry Tutoring
Experience tutoring subjects in geometry including points, lines, planes, angles, parallel lines, triangles, similarity, trigonometry, quadrilaterals, transformations, circles and area.
Homework Coach Tutoring
Patience and determination are the key to successful homework completion. I have much experience helping students with their homework in a variety of subjects as I am eager to help students gain the confidence they need to complete homework on their own someday.
Science Tutoring
With a bachelors in general science I was fortunate to have experience in a variety of subjects including: biology, chemistry, physics, biochemistry, genetics, anatomy, physiology, and computer science. What I have found from my studies is that much of the basics are applicable to all subjects. I look forward to helping students build a strong foundation for success in all subjects!
